What's in the Fridge?

What's in the Fridge? (use your imagination)

What’s in the Fridge? And what IS the fridge? It is the mind that can remember anything that anyone has stored in it and kept cold. It is a repository for cold cases and conspiracy theories. The mind, in my theory, is not where memories are stored, but it is like an organ that has stops, so that the brain actually STOPS memories in the mind and selects which ones we remember. But in fact the real mind can remember anything that anyone has ever thought or experienced, or will think or experience. Or it thinks that it can, anyway. Psychics call it the akashic records.

So I opened the fridge today, and I was Lee Harvey Oswald watching the Zapruder film. Of course in reality as we know it he never saw the film of what he did. But now he was in Russia, watching the film of what he would do 2 years later. Oswald watched in his mind as 2 years later the motorcade rounded the corner below him. He watched as the three shots rang out and President Kennedy was hit twice. Except that according to conspiracy theory, Oswald was a CIA agent all along, and so what Agent Oswald was actually watching was himself as he was altering the Zapruder film, as conspiracy theorists believe the CIA did after getting the film in Washington the day after the assassination. So Agent Oswald was watching for what he cut out from the film which would prove he and the CIA were not guilty. What was cut out of the Zapruder film that would make them not guilty? It was when Zapruder turned the camera to his right to show the shooter behind the fence on the grassy knoll right after he heard the shot. But, alas, Oswald could not find this part of the film that Agent Oswald in Washington was supposed to have cut out. So, I guess Oswald was watching himself prove that he was guilty because there was really no other shooter seen in the Zapruder film from the grassy knoll. He didn’t seem to mind, though, because in his mind this proved he really did shoot Kennedy, and thus he was going to be the hero who shot Castro’s enemy.

That settled, I decided later to open the fridge again and watch another famous strange and nefarious incident from the past. This time, I was Evelyn Wood as she erased the 18 minutes from the Watergate tapes. What was really on the tapes? What did Nixon say during those 18 minutes? We’re going to find out, or at least we think we’re going to find out. Maybe akashic records are really only our imagination, as in the Twilight Zone. You can judge for yourself. So, I listened to Nixon, and what he was doing was channeling ideas from Donald Trump 48 years later planning what to do on January 6, 1973 if by some strange chance his other pranks had failed and he had lost the election to George McGovern. Nixon said he would hire some thugs to enter congress and hold all the members of congress in session at gunpoint, and then have a thug point a gun at Vice President Agnew and force him to change the votes as he read them to congress on January 6th. The world never heard Nixon’s plans, but now we have heard them. Or, at least in our imagination we have heard them.

So what else can we find in the fridge? Can it also be a cold crystal ball? Let’s find the memory of what has happened to the world in the year 2122. We can see that many cities have been flooded and moved inland or to higher ground and many others have burned down. The population of the world has shrunk by half, and most people no longer have access to technology and live like peasants again like they did 1000 years ago. A few rich people still own all the best land and corporations and most of the wealth, and they sit behind gated communities guarded by men with AR-15s, and most peasants also have AR-15s with which they can shoot each other, so there are huge gun massacres every day because people are so frustrated and have been brainwashed to blame each other for what the wealthy few have done to them and to the world for their own convenience.

Suddenly I was Charles Dickens, and I was writing A Christmas Carol, and Scrooge asked the Ghost of Christmas Future whether this was the scene of what must be, or only could be? What he answered, I leave for you the reader to decide.
