prompt: the future is coming!

I was sitting with my teacher yesterday, and in my curious youthful way, I asked her, Teach, do I have a future?

Yes, she said. The future is coming.

So that means that I have a future? Will it go off and leave me behind?

That’s a good question, she said. But it opens up a lot of other questions. I hope you don’t mind.

No, I don’t mind. I am a curious fellow, I answered. But if you have no answers, it puts me in a bind.

Well, she said, that’s part of life. The answers are for you to find.

I give up, I said. Just tell me. I want to be free. Please just tell me, and be kind.

All I can do is give you my theories, she said, about this daily grind.

OK, I said. I am all ears, Please ease my fears. Please don’t reduce me to tears.

I can’t guarantee that. But OK, I’ll try. But first you need to get high. Here, take this pill, it’s called LSD. It will help you to see, I promise it will.

Really, you want me to take drugs? I thought you were my teacher. Are you a doctor too? LSD is prescribed for me? Was it for you?

Well, let’s not call it a drug, or take one. Let’s just call it, let’s see. Let’s call it: Let go, get into the Stream, and Dive in. Just relax and pay attention. If you do, things might open up and you will see the future. You won’t even need any more rhymes.

One way to look at it, she said, is that the future is now. We are always in the now. Even in the future, it will be now. The future is here already. But it’s also a stream, so it seems to be moving, so it seems we are moving somewhere too. Things change. And yet they are always the same. So you will always be here now. But your form will change.

Do I have to believe I am only this one life in this one body, then? I asked?

No, you don’t have to believe that, or anything else. Just relax, and take what comes. I know that’s not easy, but that’s why we’re here. To learn.

Someday, she said, in 500 million years or so, the Sun will get too hot and these bodies won’t be able to live here. We’ll have to adapt. So perhaps we’ll move to another planet. Or, perhaps when we die, we already migrate. Our souls exist, and leave this body and go to what we call now the other side. Many people now return from dying, thanks to medical science. What was myth before is now what people report experiencing. People can even verify what they saw at a distance while they were dead and out of their body. So, she said, no-one can say for sure that there is no other side today.

So we may already have the ability to reincarnate here, and if we can reincarnate here, we can find some other planet to reincarnate upon.

But that also raises a question, I said. Will we be guiding life on other planets to evolve into bodies we can reincarnate into, I asked? Is Life on Earth also the result of such guidance, over the millennia and eons of evolution on Earth, from us long before we arrived?

Maybe we won’t have to wait for that, she said. Over these 500 million years living both on Earth and on the Other Side, we may develop the ability, as Christ did, and as James Redfield predicted, to travel between these dimensions. Then we won’t have to learn to physically travel at warp speed to other planets, or travel to planets many hundreds of light years away in rocket ships carrying terraforming equipment with us in huge, long journeys in space that take thousands of years. We can just show up there on these other planets by moving between Incarnation on planets, which we call Life, and The Other Side, which we call the Spirit world. Maybe that’s what the more-advanced ETs visiting here do already.

We’ll have to learn to make life sustainable wherever we go, though. So we might as well learn that now, here. Learn to recycle everything. Let’s not hope we can get everything we need forever from asteroids. Let’s learn to manage our climate and our environment here on Earth so all of life here can thrive. And take this ability to our next galaxy and next planet too. And by the way, that means participating in politics here too.

A sustainable environment depends on all of life. We are all interdependent, in this dimension, and on the Other Side too. There is no disconnection between these two dimensions to begin with. It’s all here and now.

And even if this universe runs down, if this one was created, then others will be. The ability to create is always there. It’s not a machine.

OK, I said, That makes some sense. Thank you Teacher.

OK, she said. But just remember, I’m not telling you what to believe. Just relax, and pay attention, and Let the Stream all around you and within you roll through you and your mind, and Dive in. Or use whatever words you want that start with L, S and D.
