prompt: MHM (from my T-shirt)

More Houses Made-of-Metal. I guess that’s MHM-M, close enough for BOW

We need our houses to be made of metal. Otherwise they will burn down. CA wildfires threaten us all. I know that metal is not a renewable resource. But neither is burnt wood! Maybe we can mine the Moon and asteroids for more. If Mike has his way, "by hook or by crook, we will!" Once we stop driving cars, though, we’ll have plenty of recycled metal around.

So, you say, we will all still want to drive cars. I don’t care. This is just a fictional essay, so I can say we’ll all stop driving if I want. It’s my essay, and I write it my way! That is an adapted quote from David Lewis on Perry Mason, talking about his show. But it’s last act was lost! So, I guess the part of this essay where we all stop driving so we can have metal for our houses is the lost last portion of this essay. After all, Mike didn’t finish his essay, and we only get 10 minutes. Even David Lewis had longer than that to produce his play. In any case, if we follow the advice of my (other) essay today and stop global warming with renewable energy, maybe we won’t need recycled metal to build our houses with, and we can still drive around in our cars-- IF they are all electric or hydrogen powered cars by then. So, how many MHM we need will be all up to us!

"Many Happy Memories" -- Cat.L.P.

MHM on my T-shirt was for the Morgan Hill Marathon. I ran the half marathon in 2015.

Perry Mason, The Case of the Lost Last Act, by Perry Pod The quote above "it's my show and I run it my way!" is spoken by the character, producer John Gifford, played by David Lewis, during the final "perry mason moment" of the episode.

"by hook or by crook, we will!" from The Prisoner opening with Patrick McGoohan, and the line spoken by #2 Leo KcKern
