Coming Full Circle

prompt: coming full circle

If I could fly, I would make circles in the sky. I would fly high!

I would be able to see far. While others see long distances, I also see far in time. I see circles of time, and I write spirals in rhyme.

I am coming full circle now, as I predict the return of great changes. I see the rise of new mountain ranges. Beyond the peaks, new valleys appear. I see expanses of green, no trace of a machine.

As I come in for a landing over in this valley, I see that Nature has taken over, and humans are part of the green again. It's also hard to tell the women from the men. They tell me many have departed from this land. It has been restored, and it is grand.

Where have all the humans gone, I asked. They did not know. But they heard that wherever they are, they are happy and free and full of glee. If I could fly, I'd go in circles again and look for them beyond the next range, but it seems strange. I'll report next time, in another time.
